Snowfeather padded through the woods, her bushy tail wrapped carefully around her. She mentally recited her list of herbs to make sure she had them all, stopping occasionally to sniff the air. She headed off in the direction of the healthiest trees, knowing the best plants would grow there. "Hmm. I bet I can find some cobwebs around here," she meowed, turning to a few spiky, dry bushes. She walked carfelly around the edge, her eyes scanning every inch of the bushes for the white threads. She stopped twice to wriggle under the bush and grabb a pawfull of cobwebs. SHe then wrapped them around the upper part of her front leg where they would remain undamaged. She turned back to her original path and padded away from the bushes, her mental list shortened slightly. "Comfrey, juniper, burdock, marigold, dandelion, poppyseeds, and catnip." She sniffed again and leaped forward as she cuaght the faint scent of Comfrey. She slowed as the smell strengthened, and turned a little. She saw the knobbly roots sticking above the dry, cracked ground. She bounced over and dug down around the roots. She yanked them up and cradled them in her bushy tail, the large roots easy to keep. She headed in the general direction of the ThundeerClan border, her nose crackling with forest scents. She homed in on the smell of poppy flowers, and moved off towards them. The trees thinned out slightly to reveal several kinds of flowers and bushes. SNowfeather went over her mental map and realized that this was the only part of the forest that she never went to. She cerfully noted it's place and then pulled a few poppy heads off their stems. She placed those on top of the comfrey, and for the first tie in weeks she was glad it was very fluffy. She picked some juniper berries and added those to her tail-stash. She ripped up some dandelion plants, and some marigold leaves. She held the dandelion stems in her mouth and headed back to camp, satisfied that she had more herbs now.

Snowfeather padded through the old forest, mentally deciding on some more herbs. "Feverfew, Lavendar, borage leaves, dock leaves, and horsetail." She quickly hared to the small meadow that she had found. She picked her way around and easily found lavendar. She picked some up and carefully placed it on her tail so that it would not fall out. Then she ripped some stems of feverfew and stowed them with the lavendar. She padded over to a clump of dark green bushes and yanked off several mouthfulls of borage leaves, carefully spitting them onto her tail. She grabbed a mouthul of the large dock leaves and stowed them with her other herbs. She quickly ripped some horsetail from the small clump of it next to a pool. She turned and padded back to camp as she remembered that she neded catnip. She turned back around and squeezed under some bushes. She grabbed seveal mouthfuls of the catnip and placed them on her tail so she was not tempted to eat them. Then Snowfeather hurried back to camp.

Once again, Snowfeather sat beside the camp, picking a few vital herbs to gather. "Burdock root, goldenrod, yarrow, broom, celandine, and snakeroot." She pictured each herb in her mind and set off through Old Forest. She arrived at the meadow quicker than normal now that she knew the route. She looked around for the top of the burdock plant. She saw it growing next to the pond. She dug down around the roots and pulled them out quickly, stuffing them between her tail and her side. She turned around, searching for the goldenrod. She saw it and hurried over. She bit off several stems and placed them with the roots. Before she turned away, she hurriedly snapped off a few more and nestled them with the others. She turned and saw some yarrow and broom not far off, so she hurried over and yanked them out of the ground, shaking the seeds onto the ground. She placed them on her tail and turned around, seeking out the celandine and snakeroot. It took longer to find them than she had thought, so she hurried over quickly and did the same to these plants, ripping them out and shaking the seeds on the ground. She thanked StarClan that it would be so easy to care for her Clan before setting back to camp, muddy pawed and tired.
